Do you need access to my home or business?

Not necessarily, if we can access the area for work without entering the premises you will not need to be there. However, if the tree work requires us to enter the premises, then someone must be available to allow access.

Will my neighbour’s be disturbed?

If branches overhang your neighbouring property, we may need to access their property too. As such, it is always advisable to inform your neighbours the work is being carried out.

What do you need to know before tree work begins?

When you are having any sort of tree work, be it removal, planting, transplanting, or stump grinding we need to know about underground utilities. We must have this mapped out before work commences to avoid any risks.

What is a Tree Preservation Order (TPO)?

A Tree Preservation Order (TPO) is a legal safeguard for trees with significant amenity value. Issued by local planning authorities, TPOs prevent unauthorised activities like cutting, topping, or damage to protected trees. Property owners must obtain permission before undertaking any work on such trees. Violating a TPO can lead to legal consequences and fines, emphasising the need for responsible tree management and conservation efforts. Our team of arborists in Blackburn can help you apply for the permission required for your project anywhere in the Northwest.

Will I be left with a tree stump?

When removing a tree, we will take it down to ground level as much as possible. The stump removal is an additional service which is an additional cost. If you would like us to remove the stump as well, please ask us for a quote for our stump grinding services.
